With a theme of "Home for the Holidays," this Holiday Walk will be marked by a festive atmosphere and fun for all.
5:30 to 7:30pm
See "The Frozen Robins", led by WGN's Mike Nowak, will sing carols and entertain as the crowd awaits Santa's arrival. The Robins provided much merriment in 2006 as they caroled around town, performing in businesses and restaurants, as well as while strolling along the streets of Glen Ellyn's central business district.
6:00pm
Santa will arrive to unveil the new Village of Glen Ellyn Christmas Tree and to light up the town for the holiday season. Afterwards Claus will greet folks at Glen Ellyn's Fire Station #1 at Pennsylvania Avenue and Main Street.
6:30 to 9:30pm
Stores and restaurants throughout downtown Glen Ellyn will be open late and will have plenty of treats for holiday shoppers. Merchants will feature holiday services exclusively for the Holiday Walk and special offers through the end of the year.
Shop and Dine throughout Glen Ellyn's Central Business District. Visit our boutiques and shops to begin your wish list or complete your shopping. Enjoy refreshments, see holiday themed characters, learn about featured holiday items available exclusively in Glen Ellyn, then relax over a gourmet meal and "hot toddy" at one of the many great dining establishments in downtown Glen Ellyn.
